We've built a game-changing feature that will take away this hassle, and let you focus on delivering the best feedback for your customer.

Setting Up A Video Review

Log back into the Creator Portal, or make a new account, and click the 'Create Content' button on the top left side of the Dashboard.

Select 'Video Review' as your content option, and update all of the necessary info, just like you would with other content types.

Buying a Video Review

The checkout process for a video review is just like any other product on your channel. Once purchased, your customers will be taken to the video review uploading page, as shown below.

Customers can click into their untitled, pending review to submit their video, giving it a title and some additional comments they may want to give you alongside their submission. 

Once they have submitted their video, the status will be shown as 'In Review' as they wait for you to complete the review. 

NOTE: Customers can upload a video to review at any point in time, it does not need to be within a certain timeframe after purchase.

To access their review page, customers can click on 'My Vidz' from the menu in the top right hand corner, and selecting the 'Reviews' option underneath 'Purchases' and 'Subscriptions'.

How will I know when I get a video to review?

As soon as a video has been uploaded, you (as a reviewer) will get notified. Videos to review can be found in the 'Reviews' tab from within the Video Review set up.

'Reviews' Tab

Within the 'Video Review' set up in the Creator Portal, your reviews will show up in the 'Reviews' tab, situated underneath the 'Video review' heading, next to the 'Details' tab, as shown below.

Newly uploaded videos will show a yellow 'Ready for review' status. To start the review, click on the 3 dots next to the video, and click 'Start review'.

A pop up will allow you to view the video and read the comments before officially starting the review process.

Using the Video Review Tool

When you're ready, click 'Start review' followed by 'Try it now', taking you to the video review tool.  

To commence the recording, click 'Start Recording', and then begin your review using the following tools: 

• Pause and play the submitted video as needed
• Go frame by frame on the video using the arrow keys on your keyboard
• Zoom in and out of the submitted video using the Zoom tool
• Draw lines and arrows, changing the colour and thickness if desired

You can also pause and play the recording at anytime, and discard and start again if needed.

Completing the Review

Once you're happy with your review, click the stop button at the top of the menu, and then confirm you are finished on the pop up. 

You'll be shown a preview of your recording, which you can either confirm or choose to re-do. Once confirmed, the review video will be uploaded. 

After upload, you will be taken to a page where you can include any comments if needed, and then 'Submit review', and one final 'Confirm'.

In the 'Reviews' tab, the review will turn to a green 'Reviewed' status, and your customer will be notified.
