Stream like the pros - How to have a broadcast quality livestream for only $2000

It doesn't take a pro, or tens of thousands of dollars, to host a broadcast quality live stream. Just a small, one-off investment can set up you up to have a best in class live stream, every time.

Pro Live Stream

Your Camera:

Any high quality video camera along with a tripod. When setting up, ensure there is an unobstructed view of the action.

We recommend: Panasonic HC-X1500 - roughly $1500

Encoder:

Find an encoder with multiple inputs, allowing you to plug in multiple cameras as well as a laptop.

We recommend: Black Magic Design Atem Mini Pro - roughly $300

Monitor

This will provide a visual display of the stream with a preview of all of the inputs, as well as some stream metrics.

We recommend: Any standard monitor - roughly $200

Laptop

A laptop allows you to control advanced settings of the stream, audio and video, as well as viewing the stream.

We recommend: Any standard, modern laptop will work - not included in the cost as you'll likely already have one.
